We love Worcester and believe our city deserves great things! The Market on Exchange committee is a small, but mighty volunteer team of entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders who understand that if you want change, you need to roll up your sleeves and make it happen. We are passionate about supporting local businesses, having access to healthy food, and bringing downtown Worcester to life!
Our Mission
Main Street offers beautiful architecture, ample retail space, excellent highway access, tree-lined streets, and plenty of parking—but it needs people and consistent activity to draw them in.
With numerous new residential units becoming occupied and exciting developments underway, it’s crucial to create the dynamic urban experience that residents and visitors are looking for. Our first step is Market on Exchange, a weekly farmers market on Exchange Street, featuring vendors from across the region. In collaboration with Off the Rails and Moynagh’s Tavern, Market on Exchange will offer complimentary parking, live entertainment, craft beer, and delicious food.
If you share our vision for an amazing downtown Worcester, join us on Sunday, October 13th as we pilot this idea with a Harvest Fest presented by Discover Central MA. Support local farmers and entrepreneurs, enjoy craft beer and BBQ, and visit the unique small businesses in and around North Main Street.
Become A Vendor
Our vision is to establish a Farmers & Makers Market every Sunday from May to October on Exchange Street in Downtown Worcester.
We invite you to join us for our inaugural market on Sunday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost to participate as a vendor is $25. Vendors are required to have a 10x10 tent and tables/set-up. Vendors must be in compliance with all city and state board of health requirements. Complimentary parking will be available in the lot adjacent to Exchange Street, ensuring a smooth setup. The event will take place rain or shine.
